ABOUT LYFTA
## What helps young people feel ready to make a thoughtful contribution to the world?
During the Global Be Well Day 2022, Cognita educators enabled students to explore different lives and perspectives, reflect on what matters to them, and consider how their understanding might inform action in their own communities and around the world.
Global Be Well Day was a starting point for these conversations that can continue throughout the school year.

## Meaningful action begins with an opportunity to understand.
Use a human story to open a conversation, invite students to reflect on what they have encountered, then consider a response that makes sense in their own community: "What do we notice about this person’s life and experiences?" "What has challenged our assumptions or helped us understand another perspective?" "What could we do in our own community, and what would we need to understand first?"

## Teaching with Lyfta
The GBWD 2022 lessons on nutrition and healthy lifestyle were only a small fraction of the vast learning content available on Lyfta's platform.
